Vinicius Jr Offers Sincere Sorry to Los Blancos Fans

Real Madrid attacker Vinicius Jr has apologised to fans for his reaction when replaced in Sunday's heated Clasico clash triumph.

He was substituted in the second half and expressed his disappointment by walking immediately to the dressing room.

The Brazilian subsequently came back to the sidelines and, after his side's 2-1 win, attempted to approach Barcelona's Lamine Yamal during unpleasant final whistle exchanges.

"Now I want to say sorry to all the Madridistas for my reaction when I was substituted in the big match," Vinicius wrote on social media.

"Just as I have said in person during the latest session, I also want to express regret anew to my teammates, the organization, and the president.

"Sometimes passion takes over me because I always want to win and help my team. My competitive character comes from the passion I hold for this team and all it stands for."

Vinicius joined Real from Flamengo in the year 2018 for a significant fee and has scored over a century of strikes in numerous matches.

But his future in the Spanish capital is far from certain with rumors in lately stating that the club would contemplate permitting the player depart if they obtained a suitable offer.

When the winger was taken off on Sunday, broadcast footage from coverage provider Dazn picked him up stating: "It's always me! I'm exiting the club! It's better if I leave, I'm leaving."

In his new statement on social media, Vinicius stated: "I promise to keep fighting every second for the good of the club, as I have performed since the initial arrival."
