Marvel Rivals Unabashedly Unveils the Fresh Lady Loki Costume

While some may call Marvel Rivals as an imitation of Overwatch, creator NetEase earns credit for discovering creative ways to engage its eager and dedicated fanbase. Enter Lady Loki, a completely new outfit for the existing Strategist hero Loki, offering players a faithful to the comics depiction of the Norse trickster god(dess).

A Reskin of Loki, Not Hela

Despite some fan speculation, the previously teased Lady Loki costume is not a skin for Hela. Rather, it is a full-on reskin of Loki himself, featuring new voice lines. Based on the official preview, Lady Loki retains the full suite of Loki's core abilities: Mystical Missile, his trickery skill, and Doppelgänger. The sole difference is her new appearance, designed to captivate an audience eager to spend their in-game currency.

With NetEase has broken the seal with this gender-swapped skin for Loki, the Marvel Rivals community is busy considering similar swaps. Popular ideas now range from:

• Spider-Gwen as Spider-Woman.

The big question is: Does NetEase have the courage to deliver more obscure variants, such as one-time Ms. Marvel Sharon Ventura as She-Thing? That will probably hinge on fan demand!
